The world's religions are among humanity's deepest and most enduring creations — systems of meaning, ethics, and community that have shaped civilisations for thousands of years. Today, around 2.4 billion Christians, 1.9 billion Muslims, 1.2 billion Hindus, 500 million Buddhists, and millions of Jews, Sikhs, and practitioners of other traditions make up the religious landscape of the planet.
